Bradshaw Vineyard, owned and managed by the Bradshaw Family, is situated just 25 miles north of King Estate in Junction City. Planted in 1989, the vineyard’s original trellis design came from King Estate, as did the vines for their foundation blocks. Though our relationship with Bradshaw Vineyard goes back many years, 2009 marks the first vintage that we’ve produced a Bradshaw Vineyard Designate Pinot Noir. Fruit for this vintage, their 12th, was harvested on October 10th.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Color: Ruby, dark garnet
Aroma: orange peel, baking spices, cedary oak, cherry, and strawberry
Flavors: bramble berry, blackberry jam, cherry, tobacco
Mouthfeel: viscous, firm, round, tight tannins
